National Parks of America Part 1

In Social Studies we researched US National Parks. The students were to create and write a postcard from the National Park(s) they were interested in learning about using Power Point Presentation. A class slideshow of 34 slides was created for public viewing. The big screen presentation was in the computer lab. Each student read aloud their slide(s), and we discussed artistic aspects and listened to positive comments their accomplishments. Earth Invades Mars!!!

Exciting News!!!!!!! After 30 years of attempts, it took the Phoenix Mars Lander 10 months of space travel for Earth to successfully land on Mars again!!! Visit the NASA and University of Arizona websites for daily updates, mission pictures from Mars, and experiments the Phoenix Mars Lander is doing.
